Panasonic mulls billion-dollar gigafactory near Tesla Texas: NHK
Panasonic is reportedly looking for sites in either Oklahoma or Kansas to build a gigafactory in the US to produce a new type of battery for Tesla.
Japan’s state-owned broadcaster NHK said Friday the battery manufacturer wants to acquire land near Tesla’s Texas new plant. It adds the project requires “several billion dollars.”
