Panasonic appoints new ceo, announces spin offs
Japan’s Panasonic Corporation has announced its head of automotive business Yuki Kusumi as the company’s new chief executive officer, Kallanish reports.
The company said on 13 November current ceo Kazuhiro Tsuga will retire as an executive officer and continue to serve only as chairman.
Kusumi, who brokered a partnership with Tesla and a battery joint venture with Toyota Motor, will take office on 1 April.
