Northvolt raises $600m in private placement
Swedish battery producer Northvolt has raised $600 million in a private placement, moving the company closer to hitting its 150 GWh manufacturing target by 2030.
The private placement was led by Baillie Gifford, Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division, and Volkswagen AG. They were joined by Baron Capitol Group, Bridford Investments Limited, Norrsken VC and PCS Holding, Kallanish understands.
