NiWest granted major project status by Australian government
Australian miner Alliance Nickel’s NiWest nickel-cobalt project has been awarded Major Project Status (MPS), which recognises projects of national economic significance, Kallanish notes.
The status granted by the federal government will give the firm access to the Major Projects Facilitation Agency, providing additional resources to assist streamlining a range of regulatory approvals for mine development.
