Nissan to acquire Vehicle Energy Japan's shares from INCJ
Japanese automaker and hybrid technology leader Nissan announced last Wednesday that it was in the final stages of acquiring a large portion of common shares of Vehicle Energy Japan, a hybrid vehicle lithium-ion battery provider, from Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ), a public-private partnership and also the largest shareholder of Vehicle Energy Japan.
