Nissan confirms it’s not in talks with Apple over iCar
Asian carmakers have been making the headlines recently with rumoured negotiations with Apple over a potential autonomous electric car project. Nissan is the latest manufacturer to have reportedly turned down the technology company in early talks.
The Financial Times reported on Monday Nissan had brief discussions with Apple, but these failed to progress to senior management level due to Nissan’s reluctance on becoming an assembler for Apple cars.
