Nio renews manufacturing agreement with JAC, expands capacity
Chinese smart electric vehicle company Nio said Monday it is expanding its manufacturing capacity through a renewed deal with state-owned manufacturer JAC, Kallanish reports.
The companies agreed on terms of their joint manufacturing contract and related fee arrangements, although figures weren’t disclosed. JAC currently manufactures the Nio vehicles in delivery – including the ES8, ES6 and EC6 models – in the Hefei JAC-Nio factory.
