Nikola founder Trevor Milton convicted on fraud charges in federal court
Nikola founder Trevor Milton was convicted of fraud by a jury in a case alleging that he lied to investors about the electric-hydrogen truckmaker and its technology to boost the value of Nikola stock, Kallanish reports.
The federal jury found Milton guilty of one count of securities fraud and two counts of wire fraud. He was acquitted on an additional count of securities fraud in US District Court in New York City. He will be sentenced on 27 January. He had faced …
