NICKEL: Vale resumes Onça Puma operations
Brazil's Vale says that it has resumed production at its nickel complex at Onça Puma, in Pará state, on 7 October, Kallanish notes. Mining operations were halted for almost three days after the local environmental authority (SEMAS) suspended Vale`s operation license, allegedly due to non-compliance with conditions, according to a statement issued by the miner.
