NICKEL: Nickel Creek confirms carbon-absorbing rocks at its Wellgreen deposit
Nickel Creek Platinum says that new research indicates that tailings and waste rock from the Wellgreen deposit at its Nickel Shaw project in Canada’s Yukon Territory contains magnesium-rich minerals that can absorb carbon dioxide from the air, Kallanish reports.
That research was conducted for the company by Gregory Dipple of the CarbMinLab at the University of British Columbia.
