NICKEL, COPPER: Minnesota begins new review of non-ferrous mine rules
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is beginning a new review to determine if the state’s non-ferrous mining siting rules are strong enough to protect the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness from planned nickel-copper mines, Kallanish reports.
