NICKEL: Brazilian environmental authority suspends Vale`s Onça Puma operations
Brazil's Vale says that is stopping mining operations at its nickel complex at Onça Puma, in Pará state, from 4 October, Kallanish notes. The action follows the notification of the suspension of the operation license by the local environmental authority (SEMAS), allegedly due to non-compliance with conditions, according to a statement issued by the miner.
