Nel on track to deliver green hydrogen at $1.5/kg by 2025
Norway’s Nel said on Wednesday it’s on track to make green hydrogen as cheap - or cheaper - to produce than natural-gas-based hydrogen by 2025.
The company officially launched its new plant at Herøya, Norway, on 20 April. It’s claimed to be the first fully automated electrolyser production facility in the world, currently with a capacity of 500 megawatts per year, Kallanish notes.
