Nel Hydrogen to build 4 GW electrolyser factory in Michigan
Norwegian electrolyser manufacturer Nel Hydrogen announced on Wednesday it has picked Michigan to host its planned 4-gigawatt electrolyser gigafactory in the US, Kallanish reports.
The company intends to invest $400 million in a multi-phased project. The plant will produce both alkaline and PEM electrolysers, industrialising the technology developed in its operations in Herøya, Norway, and in Wallingford, Connecticut.
