Mining industry should brace for a super-cycle: WoodMac
A new mining super-cycle is likely to be imminent and could last at least a decade, driven by the energy transition, according to Wood Mackenzie’s vice chair Metals and Mining Julian Kettle.
The research and consultancy group defines a super-cycle as a “permanent significant increase commodity demand and price, with the latter driven by an inability of supply to keep up with demand and exacerbated by speculative activity.”
