Microsoft to speed up Cruise’s self-driving EVs: GM
US-based self-driving company Cruise has teamed up with Microsoft and parent company General Motors to speed up the commercialisation of all-electric, self-driving vehicles, Kallanish reports.
The companies announced last week they entered a long-term strategic cooperation, under which they will combine their capabilities in software and hardware engineering, cloud computing, manufacturing know-how and partner ecosystem.
