‘Made in Europe’ batteries to meet local demand in 2021
Europe’s battery manufacturing capacity could meet local demand as early as this year if the 90 gigawatt-hour (GWh) planned capacity comes online on schedule, T&E said on Monday.
The campaign group estimates there will be enough “made in EU” batteries for the EV market in 2021.
