Livent invests in new lithium project
Despite weak market conditions impacting its third quarter revenues, lithium specialist Livent is to invest in a new endeavour, Kallanish reports.
The company has entered into a consortium to acquire Canada-based Nemaska Lithium via a joint venture with investment firm The Pallinghurst Group. New Memaska is a supplier of lithium hydroxide to various energy storage markets.
