LITHIUM: Sigma Lithium begins construction on Phase 1 of Brazil project
Sigma Lithium has started construction on the production plant and infrastructure for its Grota do Cirilo lithium project in southeast Brazil, the largest hard-rock lithium deposit in the Americas, Kallanish reports.
A total of 38 items costing $9.4 million with long lead times have been ordered for the mine and processing plant with deposits placed to keep the project on schedule, it says. About 180 workers have been mobilised to the site by Promon Engenharia Ltd…
