LITHIUM: Origen acquires prospective lithium belt in Argentina
Canada-based Origen Resources says it is acquiring the prospective lithium-bearing Los Sapitos salar in San Juan province in northwest Argentina, Kallanish reports.
The company has acquired 26,962 hectares from two individuals. The claims package includes a relatively unexplored tectonic corridor with a series of salars, hot springs and geysers within the corridor. The site is geologically analogous to well-known lithium-bearing sites in Salta and Jujuy provinces.…
