LITHIUM: Lithium Australia secures US patent for SiLeach technology
Lithium Australia announced on Wednesday it has been granted a US patent for its lithium extraction technology known as SiLeach, Kallanish reports.
The grant provides the Australian lithium company 17 years of legal protection and is the first of a number of patent applications it has filed across the world. The next expected patent grant is in Australia, followed by Europe – where the process is considered “allowable.”
