LITHIUM: Lithium Americas advancing projects in Argentina, US
Canada-based Lithium Americas says it posted a net loss of $19.3 million in second quarter 2021, compared to a net loss of $6.0m in Q2 2020, Kallanish reports.
The higher net loss in Q2 2021 is due to higher expenditures on its planned Thacker Pass lithium project in Nevada and a $4.7m loss on the JEMSE transaction in Argentina, the company says in providing updates on its two planned lithium projects in Argentina and the United States.
