LITHIUM: Lilac Solutions ships demonstration plant to Lake’s Kachi project
Australia’s Lake Resources confirmed Thursday Lilac Solutions has shipped the demonstration plant for its Kachi lithium project in Argentina, Kallanish reports.
The plant left California in five shipping containers. Its modular design allows for a plug and play approach, once brine feed, power and reagent are connected. The plan is for it to operate for three to four months to produce lithium chloride (eluate) representing 2.5 tonnes of lithium carbonate.
