LITHIUM: Lawsuit delays construction on Thacker Pass project
Canada-based Lithium Americas says it will temporarily halt work on its Thacker Pass lithium mine in northwest Nevada, Kallanish has learned.
The company had planned preliminary digging at the site starting on 23 June, but it had agreed to postpone that work to July, Reuters reports. The company, it says, is confident that the federal review of the project will win judicial approval.
