LITHIUM: Global lithium demand to grow over 20% in 2021: SQM
Global lithium demand will grow strongly and above 20% this year, the ceo of Chilean lithium producer SQM said in a press interview released by the company on 17 January.
According to Ricardo Ramos, the current demand for lithium is around 320,000 tonnes/year and SQM projects that number will more than triple in 2025.
