LITHIUM: Core Lithium targets FID on Finniss by year-end, first spodumene in 2022
Australia’s Core Lithium said Monday it plans to make a positive final investment decision (FID) on its Finniss Lithium project by year-end, Kallanish reports.
The plan is to green light the AUD 89 million ($65.4m) investment this year and fast track construction of Stage 1 of the project located near Darwin, in the Northern Territory. It follows a 30% upgrade in ore reserves to 7.4 million tonnes, as part of an updated definitive feasibility study (DFS).
