LITHIUM: BYD to invest in Chengxin Lithium Group
Shenzhen-listed Chengxin Lithium Group will introduce BYD as a strategic investor for a private placement to raise no more than CNY 3 billion ($470.82 million) in order to supplement working capital and repay debts.
According to the announcement Chengxin Lithium released on 23 March via Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the two parties have signed a three-year conditional strategic cooperation agreement on 22 March, Kallanish notes.
