LITHIUM: BLM releases EIS for Thacker Pass project in Nevada
The US Bureau of Land Management says it has released a favourable Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Lithium Americas’ large-scale Thacker Pass lithium project in northwest Nevada, Kallanish reports.
The project by subsidiary Lithium Nevada Corp is expected to receive final approval or a record of decision in early 2021. A state water permit is also pending.
