LITHIUM: SQM shareholders approve expansion plan, capital raise
Shareholders of Chilean mining company SQM have approved the company’s expansion plans and a proposed $1.1 billion capital raise, Kallanish reports.
Under Chilean law, the capital increase will be subject to a mandatory 30-day pre-emptive rights offering period for existing shareholders.
