Li-Cycle completes heavy-duty EV battery recycling pilot
Li-Cycle Corp has completed an electric vehicle battery recycling pilot project with New Flyer Industries Canada ULC and New Flyer of America Inc, Kallanish reports.
The New Flyer bus companies, subsidiaries of the NFI Group, provided Ontario-based Li-Cycle with 45 end-of-life lithium battery modules totalling 3,200 pounds from buses. They had been used for research and development.
