LGES to increase investment in Arizona battery factory
South Korean battery giant LG Energy Solution plans to increase its investment in electric vehicle battery production in Arizona.
It claims to be constructing a large manufacturing industry park, with the investment being increased to KRW 7.2 trillion ($5.54 billion) from the previously estimated $1.4 billion. Tesla is expected to be the largest client for this production centre, Kallanish learns.
