LG Chem starts construction of world’s largest cathode material plant
LG Chem has started construction on what it calls the world’s largest single cathode material plant in Gumi city, South Korea, Kallanish reports.
The battery giant announced on 11 January it will invest roughly KRW 500 billion ($420 million) in the 60,000-tonne/year plant.
