LG Chem may acquire Umicore
There is speculation in the market that the South Korean battery giant LG Chem is planning to acquire Antwerp-based material technology and recycling company Umicore to further secure its material supply, Kallanish learns.
According to Bloomberg, the acquisition is in its early stage and an official approach hasn't been made.
