LG Chem breaks ground on cathode factory in Tennessee
South Korean chemical giant LG Chem said Wednesday it has started the construction of its cathode plant in Tennessee, US, Kallanish reports.
The factory in Montgomery County, Clarksville, will start mass production of nickel-cobalt-manganese-aluminium (NCMA) cathode materials in 2026.
