KIPO's claim helps secure Ronbay's patent rights in NCM811 cathode materials
Shanghai-listed manufacturer Ningbo Ronbay New Energy Technology has received a notification of decision from the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO). Ronbay states that the South Korean authority claimed Umicore's KR101821530B1 patent is valid, paving the way for Ronbay's production and sales of the related NCM811 cathode materials in South Korea.
