Kia upgrades electrification roadmap for 1.2m BEV sales by 2030
South Korean carmaker Kia Corporation has upgraded its electrification roadmap through 2030, increasing its battery electric vehicle (BEV) annual sales target by 36%, Kallanish reports.
The company now plans to sell 1.2 million BEVs per year in 2030, starting with 160,000 BEVs this year. It intends to launch two BEVs per year from 2023 to deliver a 14-BEV line-up by 2027, up from the previous target of 11 BEVs by 2026.
