Japan, India to develop EV chargers for emerging countries
Japan and India have decided to jointly develop electric vehicle chargers with reduced costs. The target market would be emerging economies, including those in Southeast Asia.
According to Nikkei Asia, the EV chargers will reduce "the installation cost to hundreds of thousands of yen, which is one-third of the current cost," and the installation will begin in India.
