Indiana secures $3 billion gigafactory investment from GM, Samsung SDI
Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb revealed his state has managed to attract GM and Samsung SDI’s over $3 billion gigafactory investment, Kallanish reports.
The 30-gigawatt-hour EV battery joint venture was confirmed by the companies in April, but a location was yet to be determined. They said then that a location and estimated employment would be disclosed at a later stage.
