Honda unveils plans for driving assistance functions
Japanese carmaker Honda unveiled on Wednesday its next-generation safety and driver-assistive system plans, with Level 3 autonomous capabilities set to start in China this year, Kallanish reports.
The so-called SENSING 360 omnidirectional system removes blind spots around the vehicle and contributes to collision avoidance, as well as reduces driver burden. Its application will begin in China and slowly expand globally from 2024.
