Green Li-ion opens US commercial-scale battery recycling plant
Singapore-based battery recycling technology developer Green Li-ion has opened its first commercial-scale installation in Atoka, Oklahoma.
The facility is claimed to be North America’s first commercial-scale plant producing precursor cathode active material (pCAM) directly from unsorted battery waste, or black mass. Alongside pCAM, it also produces anode-grade graphite and lithium carbonate.
