Greece sees strong growth in new EV market
Greece’s new battery electric vehicle (BEV) sales increased in January-July to a new record amid growing customer demand, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) data.
A total of 3,785 new BEVs were sold in the country in the first seven months of the year, up by 150.2% on-year, Kallanish notes. In July alone, 573 electric cars were sold, representing an annual increase of 152.4%.
