GRAPHITE: Talga extends JV negotiations with LKAB, Mitsui
Australia-listed anode company Talga Group said Monday it extended its letter of intent to form a joint venture with Swedish state-owned mining company LKAB and Mitsui & Co Europe.
The parties first signed the LoI in November 2020, under which they declared their intentions to enter a partnership to develop the graphite anode project for lithium-ion battery. They now have until 30 November, 2021, to enter into a binding JV agreement, Kallanish learns.
