GRAPHITE: Syrah Resources to restart production at Mozambique mine
Australia-based Syrah Resources says it plans to resume production at the Balama Graphite Operation in northern Mozambique in the coming months as Covid-19 restrictions ease, Kallanish reports.
Last March, the company had halted graphite production at Balama, one of the largest graphite mines in the world, due mainly to travel restrictions that impacted the workforce and weaker demand for graphite due to lockdowns.
