GM, LG agree to $150m settlement for Chevy Bolt class action
General Motors, LG Energy Solution and LG Electronics have agreed to a $150 million settlement to resolve a class action litigation related to an EV battery recall in the US.
The case covers 2017-2022 Chevrolet Bolt vehicles shipped to a dealer on or before 19 August 2021. The batteries had defects that would increase temperatures, causing fires in a small number of vehicles.
