GM delays EV truck production at Michigan plant
General Motors has announced that it is delaying all-electric truck production at its Orion Assembly plant by one year.
The Orion Assembly plant in Lake Orion, Michigan, currently produces the Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV, but that will finish at the end of the year. While GM planned to begin building its all-electric trucks at the Orion facility in 2024, that timeline is now pushed back to late 2025.
