Global Ferronickel commences nickel ore shipments to China
Global Ferronickel Holdings’ (FNI) Cagdianao Mine in Surigao del Norte, Philippines, has commenced its shipment of nickel ore to customers in China, Kallanish reports.
The first shipment of the 2023 mining season departed the anchorage area of subsidiary Platinum Group Metals Corporation (PGMC) on 24 April. The cargo consisted of 55,300 wet metric tonnes (wmt) of low-grade nickel ore with 1.20% nickel content.
