LITHIUM: Galan Lithium reports ‘solid commercial base’ for Argentine project
Australian mining company Galan Lithium is moving ahead with its Hombre Muerto West (HMW) lithium carbonate project in Argentina after a “compelling” preliminary economic assessment (PEA).
The HMW project, located in the Catamarca province, is part of the Hombre Muerto basin – one of the most globally prolific salt flats. It’s close to other world-class lithium projects owned by Galaxy Resources, Posco and Livent.
