Fukushima to build hydrogen city with Toyota, partners
The Japanese Fukushima prefecture is focusing on hydrogen as a new form of energy and has begun talks with Toyota on building a demonstration city, Kallanish reports.
After the 2011 nuclear disaster, Fukushima looks into further promoting its reconstruction by hosting a planned city for around 300,000 people, before the model could be replicated at a larger scale. For that, the prefecture has started talks with Toyota, Isuzu and Hino, along with other partners.
