France welcomes new hydrogen investments at ports
France is welcoming two new low-carbon hydrogen projects at its ports to help decarbonise industrial port areas, as well as the maritime and aviation sectors, Kallanish reports.
Green hydrogen producer Lhyfe will develop a production plant and distribution facility in the Loire-Atlantique region, set to become operational by 2028. The company has won the call for proposals launched at the end of 2022 by Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, a Lhyfe representative says.
