Ford to cut back on F-150 Lightning EV production
Ford Motor Company is slashing production on its best-selling electric pick-up range, citing changes in customer demand.
Instead, the Detroit-based automaker will scale production on its petrol-powered and hybrid F-150 pickup trucks, Kallanish reports. A third shift will be added at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant to facilitate this growth, with that plant focusing on Bronco and Ranger models.
